JJ Studio AI
Our business

A closed-loop calming experience built around what the camera can observe.

We are developing a pet-wellness product for dogs with separation anxiety and sound sensitivity. The planned experience uses ordinary camera footage to estimate observable signals such as breathing, posture, and pacing, then adapts calming music in response.

Live
The problem

Your dog is struggling when you can't see it.

Pacing by the door. Panting. Whining at sounds you can't hear. Today's options each ask for a trade-off — medication, a collar or vest strapped on all day, or expensive trainer visits — and none of them actually respond to your dog moment to moment.

1 in 4

Separation-related behavior is among the most common reasons owners seek help for their dogs.

Most dogs

Research suggests many dogs show measurable signs of stress when left home alone — even quiet ones.

24/7

Anxiety doesn't keep office hours. The hardest moments happen when no one is home to help.

How it will work In development

From a minute of video to music that responds.

This is the experience we're building toward — a closed loop that keeps watching and keeps adjusting, the way a calm presence in the room would.

01

Point a camera

You'll aim your phone, tablet, or home camera at where your dog rests. About a minute of video will be enough to begin — no collar, no wearable, nothing attached to your pet.

02

AI reads the signals

Non-invasive computer vision will estimate breathing rate from subtle motion, track posture and position, and measure pacing trends over time — turning video into a clear read on how settled your dog is. (This is the vision work we're building now.)

03

Music adapts in real time

Our adaptive audio engine will respond to those signals — shifting tempo, texture, and intensity through any speaker to guide your dog toward calm, then keep re-checking and re-tuning. (This is the audio work we're building now.)

The planned loop:Watch → read signals → adapt music → re-check — continuously.
Why non-invasive

The calmest way to calm a dog is to touch nothing.

Wearables ask an anxious dog to accept one more thing on their body. We removed the hardware entirely — and made the experience actually responsive.

The science

Grounded in vision, behavior, and sound.

Three well-studied fields, combined into one product. Here's the thinking behind each.

Computer vision

Vitals without contact

Remote video analysis can pick up the small, rhythmic motion of breathing and translate it into a rate — the same non-contact principle behind remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) research, applied to pets.

Behavior modeling

Posture & pacing over time

Pose and position estimation track whether your dog is resting, alert, or pacing. Trends over a session reveal escalation or settling that a single glance would miss.

Music therapy

Sound that guides state

Studies on auditory enrichment suggest the right music can reduce stress behaviors in dogs. We turn that into a responsive engine — composed by a professional songwriter, driven by data.

JJ Studio AI is a wellness and enrichment product, not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat disease. Approaches described here are based on published research directions; product performance figures will be added as validation completes.

What we're building

The product we're building, piece by piece.

Here's what JJ Studio AI is designed to do. Each piece is tagged with where it honestly stands today.

Planned

Real-time calm score

A single, glanceable read on how settled your dog is right now — built from breathing, posture, and pacing.

In progress

Adaptive audio engine

Music that shifts with your dog instead of looping. Tempo and texture respond to live signals.

In progress

Composer-crafted library

Original calming tracks written by a professional songwriter, not generic stock loops.

By design

No hardware to buy

Designed to work with the phone, tablet, camera, and speaker you already own.

Planned

Session history

See how your dog trends across days so you know what's actually helping.

From observation to response, in one product experience.

Our application brings camera observation, behavioral signals, adaptive audio, and session insight into one place. The current product experience is still evolving, but this is where the technology becomes something a dog owner can actually use.
